You guys always seem to love posts like this, so figured I was due for one.

Please remember, this is not a BOLO list. Do not rush out and buy these toys unless they meet your criteria (most or all of these are not available at the prices mentioned anyway).

The goal here is to provide some high level analysis, and possibly open your eyes up to brands, toy lines, sources, or ideas that you maybe haven’t tried yet.

Barbie Pop Reveal (Taro Milk and Mango Mochi)

Buy Cost: $8.49

Expected Sale Price: $29.99+

Expected ROI: 100%+

Expected Hold Time: 8 months

Taro Milk and Mango Mochi were on sale on Macy’s for $8.49 yesterday. I actually screwed up and meant to get way more than the 48 of each I purchased, but totally forgot it was a one-day sale and I was waiting for my discounted gift card site to remove my daily limit that I maxed out — oops.

Anyway, I love this line. It reminds me of the Cutie Reveal line which mostly performs fantastic once discontinued. These Boba ones already have history over $30, and Amazon is sold out. They may restock, as it seems one final production run was done with an April arrival date (checked my main distributor for that information), but I don’t anticipate there being a ton of supply going into Q4. $8.49 is the cheapest I’ve seen, and they show all the signs of being discontinued. Keep an eye on these guys in case they go on sale again.
